STORY OF DOGABI
The story of Dogabi passed down from ancient times was told that Dogabi who had mysterious power as god appeared in different forms and brought luck or punishment to human. They frighten human with a bizarre face, playing mischievous tricks on human with childlike innocence, giving an abundance of life with a generous smile.
* Dogabi is an old Korean word meaning goblin.

- English: The sleek ear horns on both sides and the towering central horn on its forehead symbolize unbreakable strength, easily warding off any harsh winds, storms, or dangers of the world.

Eutteum-ppuli Who Split the Rock and the Steadfast Home Ground (바위를 쪼갠 으뜸뿔이와 든든한 집터)
- English: Once upon a time, atop the deep, rugged peaks of a rocky mountain, lived a three-horned Dokkaebi named "Eutteum-ppuli," born from the spirit of the earth and solid ironstone.

- English: With three horns rising from his head, Eutteum-ppuli looked like a fearsome warrior on the outside, yet he possessed a steadfast, dependable heart full of loyalty. With the sharp horns behind his ears, he sensed every tremor across the mountains, and with the massive cast-iron horn in the center of his forehead, he smoothed away hazardous rocks on the cliffs while silently watching over the human village below.

- English: One summer, a torrential storm struck as if a hole had opened in the sky, and a boulder as massive as a house began tumbling down from the mountain peak toward the village. As the villagers panicked in terror, Eutteum-ppuli opened his glowing golden eyes wide and sprinted down the mountain slope.

- English: At that very moment, a clear, earth-shaking ring of iron echoed through the world, and the menacing boulder shattered into fine gravel and dust against Eutteum-ppuli's unyielding horn. The crushed soil and stones formed a solid embankment against the raging floodwaters, safely embracing the village.

Thus, Eutteum-ppuli became the paramount guardian spirit who fends off every tempest and firmly protects the household.
