"Ne-nun-baegi" - 네눈배기
A ceramic jar inspired by the four-eyed 'Bangsangsi' mask, symbolizing watchful protection in all directions to ward off evil spirits. Set on a warm terracotta body with dark glazed facial features, it is detailed with 24K liquid gold on all four eyes, teeth, and carved forehead motifs.

STORY OF DOGABI
The story of Dogabi passed down from ancient times was told that Dogabi who had mysterious power as god appeared in different forms and brought luck or punishment to human. They frighten human with a bizarre face, playing mischievous tricks on human with childlike innocence, giving an abundance of life with a generous smile.
* Dogabi is an old Korean word meaning goblin.

- English: Resembling the ancient Bangsangsi mask, these eyes vigilantly scan all four cardinal directions—east, west, south, and north—simultaneously, a wondrous foresight that lets no darkness or hidden misfortune escape notice.

The Four-Eyed Dokkaebi Who Illuminated the Four Crossroads and the Golden Teeth (사방 길을 밝힌 네 눈 도깨비와 황금 이빨)
- English: Once upon a time, atop a deep mountain pass where four great roads converged, lived a mystical Dokkaebi named "Ne-nun-baegi," who had four eyes arranged vertically.

- English: Ne-nun-baegi had a face of red earthen clay topped with gallant iron horns, and set in the center of his face were four golden eyes that could pierce through east, west, south, and north all at once. While ordinary humans and beasts could only look forward and miss dangers lurking behind or beside them, Ne-nun-baegi watched over all four corners of the world clearly without ever turning his head.

From the east crept the Frost Wind Spirit, from the west the Dry Cough Spirit, from the south the Burning Fever Spirit, and from the north the Flesh-Piercing Blizzard Spirit, all dragging a sinister black mist behind them.

- English: Staring down all four evil spirits advancing from four directions simultaneously with his four eyes, Ne-nun-baegi opened his great mouth and clashed his shimmering golden teeth together with immense force. A thunderous roar—"Clack! Clack! Rumble-crash!"—echoed across the mountain pass, and the creeping epidemic spirits fell flat on the road in sheer terror at his fierce glare and thunderous noise.

Thus, Ne-nun-baegi became the premier Bangsangsi guardian spirit who clears paths in all directions and firmly safeguards the peace of the household.
