A ceramic work embodying raw, primal ferocity through the rugged, heavyweight materiality of dark clay that resembles ancient crags. The metallic, razor-sharp horns arching outward and the flame-and-cloud motifs incised across the forehead channel an inherent, dynamic surge of energy. Piercing, upturned eyes harboring profound depth instantly subdue impure spirits, while sharp fangs bared within a cavernous, roaring maw symbolize absolute byeoksa (warding off evil) and the unyielding power of protection that shatters malevolence to dust. It brings to life, in three dimensions, the steadfast immobility of rock alongside the ferocious spirit of a sacred guardian.
